The Last Crusade is the 3rd of the Indiana Jones series, and completely differs from the dark tone of its predecessor. The story is simple: Indy's father has been kidnapped by Nazis who want the Holy Grail, who can only find it by using Jones' fathers grail notebook. So Indiana sets off to save his father, and maybe find the grail as well. There's lots of top-notch performances, and Harrison Ford and Sean Connery make a great father-son duo. The action is fast paced and fun, even though some of the special affects are outdated. My favorite scene is probaly a tie between the opening young Indiana bit, and the tank chase. Much of the humor works, which is rare for this type of film. Overall Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, while not being the best Indiana Jones film, is a good light-hearted adventure romp which is sure to put a smile on your face.
