I Love You, Phillip Morris (2010)

I love you, Phillip Morris is both laugh-out-loud funny all the way through, but also deeply heartwarming and subtle at parts. Jim Carrey provides a performance as an out-of-the-closet con man who finds his way into prison and meeting Phillip Morris, played by Ewan McGreggor. Ewan McGreggor's performance is incredibly genuine and innocent, which comically contrasts with Jim Carrey's flamboyant and expressive performance. The entire movie is accompanied by a narration by Jim Carrey which in neither distracting or irritating, and in fact enhances the hilarity of the movie.
