Tron Legacy (2010)

Tron, the first one was a bit like those greasy, cheesy chips at the bottom of the packet. Tron Legacy was those chips but someone had added salt and vinegar. What I'm trying to say is, the graphics were better. Apart from that nothing else really changed.

First up, the screenplay, well it was like watching a movie I'd seen before on numerous occasions It was pretty similar to the first Tron, man goes into Computer Land, Man goes out of Computer Land after vanquishing a Naughty Program. This time round a Chick came out too (a girl). Now if a chicken sat on an egg long enough I'm sure a chick would pop out too, with this film the chick didn't pop out, it blew its way out of the shell with the force that would rival that of a nuke.

Apart from some dazzling CGI work, at the yolk of this film there really wasn't anything good or golden waiting for you.

The initial idea of the film is quite unrealistic, Sam the main character just goes ahead and leaves his father's billon dollar computer company to go chasing after crazy computer programs. Who in the whole Earth would do something like that, with the possible threat of "Extermination" in Computer Land. It was so out of this world someone might of thought we were watching Doctor Who. Sam didn't even check his CV and judging from the character's background I doubt he would of got another job.

The music in this film was a similar fault with the previous film. An alternative, electronic buzz was in every scene. This made it really awkward. The music itself was quite groovy but it was like being at a party where no one was dancing. What should of been a Si-Fi Thriller ended up seeming like a Futuristic Romance. In most Thriller films there is some degree of tension, where it seems so strong you can cut yourself a piece of it (the cake as I like to call it). In Tron you could barely get yourself some crumbs, with this film I practically fell over on attempt to get myself a slice. There was no cake. It had been obliterated by a pounding noise which instead of giving the impression of surrealism had inflicted a strong sense of nausea.

In total this film gave me a headache and I hope I will nether see it's likes again. There are some people who do like this film-They obviously have hearing impairments (Get them Tested!).
