The film centres around a group of quarrelling teenagers who will stop at nothing to gatecrash the legendary Stone Roses gig at Spike Island in 1990. The group of lads want nothing more than to have the stone roses listen to there demo and to get signed. There are lots of different themes in the film such as friendship, romance and most important rock and role which is amazingly put across in the film. The directing by Mat Whitecross was fantastic as he managed to portray the amazing atmosphere of the gig perfectly. One of the best lines of the film is " it's not where your from, it's where your at that matters." As we'll as there being great directing, their was also superb acting from everyone especially, Matthew McNulty, Elliott Tittensor, Nico Mirallegro, Jordan Murphy, Adam Long, Oliver Heald, Emilia Clarke. All in all the film is a great coming of age story that is amazingly good and amazingly funny.
