A classic spaghetti western brought to you by the wonderful director Sergio Leone is sure to pack a great shot into you, and not forgetting the sly, quiet and deadly Clint Eastwood as the stranger only known as The Man With No Name. A not so typical western has a great story and a great cast of characters which is a fun, enjoyable western. Clint Eastwood may not say much within this film but when he does you really get the feel for his character unlike the enemy of this film known as horrible murderer Ramon Rojo played by Gian Maria Volonte is a ruthless character who is not afraid to show it but the way his character was shown was not through acting but through the camera shots making him this dark character. A well deserved first smash hit for Clint Eastwood and from here on he just gets getting better and better in all of his westerns. Not forgetting director Sergio Leone who's work in directing is still influential even today. His great close up shots create atmosphere, tension and excitement in every scene which helps with composer Ennio Morricone to add even more excitement and tension. A great film which has everything apart from a really bad enemy which is the only thing I was really disappointed about but it was still a good villain none the less. A brilliant classic western.
