Where can I begin with Atonement? A film embeded in a sense of guilt, regret and hopeful love. A couple's destiny alters by the mind of an over-protective young sister, Briony, who victimizes Robbie (James McAvoy) by pointing the finger so she can wear the halo. Childhood adventures, the strain of the war and failture to grasp the simple truth, Atonment progresses into an effective, emotional and compassionate outcome through the music, dedicated actors, and passionate events. Keep the tissues nearby, because it's one of those endings that make you helplessly tear up like the Titanic or the Notebook. Who would think a humerous note would change two people's fate? This film, without a doubt, defines eternal love, the natural struggle for forgiveness and the strengh of Atonement itself. Atonement spititually mends the authors error, wrong-doing, and mis-interpretation through her heart and art of her autobiography, 'Two figures by the fountain'. This wealth of cinamatography leaves you remained with an outpour of emotions, an infectious posh accent and grateful for the fantastical imagination the author events, for the couple who eternally live in the "house with blue window-frames".
