OMG! I can`t believe that they played this film!!! This film is the best, I watch it all the time. All I can say is that it looks completely different on the big screen at Filmclub. This is what makes the club so special.

A fantasy film full of mythical creatures and fairies, The Spiderwick Chronicles was a brilliant choice for us to watch at our club. Even though the film was made in 2007, I thought that it was still very modern looking - I think I would even watch this film in 2030 and it still be as good!

The whole of this film kept me entertained and gripped to my beanbag as I munched on my popcorn and watched intently as the action unfolded. Although I liked the twins, Jared and Simon, my favourite character was Hogsqueel. He was very funny and I loved the way that he kept getting distracted by birds; even mid-sentence he would see a bird and just run off after it like a small child chasing a toy! The twist involving him at the end of the film (no, I'm not going to spoil it for you!) made it even more unique.

Everyone at our club was captivated by this movie. We were all engrossed from the minute it began until the credits rolled. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys seeing things from their imagination come to life. Extraordinary!
