Shutter Island is, in a word, confusing. The plot revolves around Leonardo DiCaprio and his visit to Shutter Island. I say visit lightly, as it soon comes to light that there is something seriously wrong with this island. I'm not really sure how to rate this film, as on one hand is has a very tense atmosphere throughout, which is hard to do without becoming either predictable or just stupid, but It also expects a bit too much out of the viewer, as it becomes hard to understand what's going on after a bit. But if you don't mind movies that are confusing yet cool (*cough* Inception *cough*) this is easily worth checking out.
