Charlie Bucket is a poor boy who lives in an old shack with his parents and four grandparents. He inhales the scent of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory as he passes by on the way to school every day.

Throughout the whole world, children are yearning for the famous Golden Tickets that only five lucky youngsters will find in five bars of scrumptious chocolate. Charlie, when strolling to his school, spots a $10 note peeking out of the crumpled snow. He spends this blessing on chocolate and finds the last Golden Ticket...

I enjoyed this film on Charlie's adventures in the world of sugar and luscious foods. Some elements have tempted my taste buds so much that I feel hungry whenever I view this film! Well done to Johnny Depp (Willy Wonka) and Tim Burton for directing it. It is a family favourite and is best watched on a peaceful Saturday afternoon on a cosy sofa with popcorn or sweets! Having stayed popular for 9 years, this movie is worth a visit. Now to the land of chocolate and beyond!
