'We Shall Overcome' is a Danish film set in 1969, which is based on a true story. It centres around a young boy named Frits Johansen, and the fight he faces for justice against his cruel headmaster. We found this film to be thought-provoking and quite compelling, but found it a bit difficult to watch due to the subtitles and the upsetting nature of some scenes. Overall, we found this film to be an inspirational tale about standing up to your oppressors and fighting for justice despite much adversity. We would recommend it to teenagers over age 14 and beyond, and to people who enjoy foreign films. By Tara and Molly :)
