Into the Wild is a mind boggling film. At the start it was dead, I failed to take hardly any interest into it because it’s just so dreadful. Apparently it was a two hour film yet it felt like forever. I just couldn’t stand it, all I wanted to do was walk out of the room and whack my head against the wall. Besides that it truly did have its funny moments like when they said sexually related stuff and the swearing but it was only now and then. Between that there was the horrific mind numbing moments when he was traveling which was most of the time. What even made it more disappointing was the fact I was told it was an action film but there was hardly any action at all. The story began to really mess with me I couldn’t understand why he wanted to do certain things. The film looked like a cold slow mess all I wanted was it to be over. Some elements and certain features were just pointless I don’t even see why they were there for example the times when he was imagining not only were they dual they was also a waste. The characters were well presented and had a fascinating impact on the film although they all had completely different backgrounds. I was expecting danger, fear, that type of gripping action but there was just one animal encounter which I think wasn’t even meant to be real which sucked.
