I did enjoy this film at times as it was quite heart-warming the way all of the people Chris met on his journey were so friendly and loving towards him, but it was also depressing as he had to keep leaving the people that cared about him and was making the wrong decisions that ruined his and his family’s lives, and when I found out that this film was based on a true story it makes it even more emotional but it also makes you think that you always have people who care for you no matter what, even if they don’t show it, and that they would miss you if you were gone, and that you shouldn’t ever leave them, that’s the message I got from the film. Although I enjoyed the film, I did find it quite tedious at times as it was such a long film and the scenes seemed to drag out a lot. I liked the storyline but I found it slightly confusing as I don’t think that the scenes were in order towards the end of the film and the storyline seemed to go back and forth which made the film a little bit difficult to understand and follow at times. I think that the filming was dramatic and the sceneries and locations were beautiful to look at. The acting was believable as well.
