Tom Hanks won his second Oscar for this performance as a kind-hearted man-child who lives an amazingly eventful life in post-war America.

Forrest Gump is AMAZING!!! Amazing is probably an understatement of what is easily the best film from the 90's. It won best picture against other classics like: Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption and I think it deserved the award by miles. Directed by Robert Zemeckis in 1994, Forrest Gump is a heart-warming, emotional and well acted film.

Forrest (Hanks) shares his life story with strangers for no given reason but its a good setting. This film is so great mainly because of its outstanding performances; Tom Hanks, Robin Wright and sally Field. Due to great character development, the scenes make you feel like your there and what you would do in that situation. Also, as much as this film is emotional, it is quite funny with scenes where Forrest meets famous people such as JFK and John Lennon. Forrest Gump is an iconic 90's film because of its famous lines; "Life is like a box of chocolates, You never know what your gonna get".

If you have been living under a rock all your life and have not heard of this classic, SEE IT FAST!!!
