While poor Uncle Buck is trying to look after the two little kids, Maizy and Miles, the moody teenager of the house, Tia, seems to have a good time causing Uncle Buck a lot of trouble. But, they soon find out after a series of events, that Uncle Buck is excatly what they need to bring the family back together again.
