I had already seen this film as it had been recommended by a friend. I was not impressed the first time, but I found it more enjoyable the second time because it was easier to grasp the concept. But I should have felt like this the first time. It is based on a true story and stars Ben Affleck as the main character and the director. The film is named after a fake film, created by John Chambers (John Goodman) and Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) which is used to rescue a group of hostages trapped in the middle of a war torn country Tehran. The concept is good, but I thought the acting was disappointing and the story wasn't brought to life in an interesting way. I would recommend it to any fans of thriller/drama films.
