Chicken run is a stop motion animation where a group of chickens try to escape a farm to get to the countryside. It is a comedy and is very funny. The group of chickens get the same routine every day; they get up, get there eggs taken off of them and then go to sleep, but if they don't lay enough eggs they get turned into a dinner for the farmers. Some of the jokes are based around WWII, like the farm looks like a prisoner-at-war camp, and also there was a chicken who was in the RAF in WWII! The music had WWII themed music, like the whistling, and it was very funny. Overall, I think it would be best for age 10-12 and I rate it 4*s.
