The Theory of Everything is an outstanding film. I loved the fact that Hawking never gave up in spite of all the difficulties he faced in his life. Jane's resolve to stay with Stephen despite his illness, moved me. The relationship between Stephen and Jane Hawking shows their strength, dedication and love. Eddie Redmayne has given the best performance of his career as Stephen Hawking. He completely embodies the character. The way Redmayne has portrayed Hawking's disease is jaw-dropping and flawless. No wonder he won the Oscar the Golden Globe for Best Actor. Eddie truly deserves all the praise and awards that come his way. Felicity Jones was spectacular as Jane Hawking. She depicted the character of Jane beautifully, showing how she fought her own battles, as well as Stephens'. Harry Lloyd was great as Brian. He made us realise that even as Hawking's strength, both physically and mentally, deteriorated, his friends stayed close and treated him like normal. This really touched me. David Thewlis was brilliant as Dennis Sciama and Charlie Cox is incredible as Jonathan Hellyer Jones. His friendship with Stephen and Jane, which grows throughout the second half of the film is amazing. The supporting characters are impressive too. The music by Johann Johannsson is captivating. It really goes with the whole theme of the film and gives off an elegant and beautiful look. I loved it.
