The Village was a very interesting and unusual film. There were a few things that made it different for example the main character was blind and one of the characters had a mental disability which I found unusual. The story was unusual because nobody would seriously block a town off from the world and create a fake beast to stop people getting back to the modern world. To send a blind girl to the towns through a dangerous forest is asking for trouble and because of this it was a little unrealistic in places. Noah (Adrien Brody) somehow escaped even though he didn’t seem to be capable of doing it before that point. However in general it was a great movie and deserves these four stars.
