Thanks to my film club, I had the opportunity to watch this film in the British library. I loved it. It spoke about the painful period of slavery, love, friendship and the importance of promises! I felt I was on a journey through Africa and Europe. I was touched by the friendship between Maki and Zarafa. By the way, Zarafa means giraffe in Arabic! I recommend this film for the film club too!
