This film is an enchanting and graceful tale, terrific for all ages. Mary's parents are killed in an earthquake in India and sh'e sent back to England to live with her uncle, Lord Craven. Mary finds it extremely hard to adapt to the lonliness of her new lifestyle and has little to do but go exploring. A magical trip through the mysterious house and garden awaits. Will you be drawn to the mystery of the garden? What is the strange crying in the house? Who is Colin? This film is beautifully done, it's rich in colours and the acting is fantastic. It demonstrates the growth of friendship and the true value of family. The film reminded me a bit of the film 'Heidi'. It is a film that can be watched over and over especially if you have cookies too!
