Well, this film was a disaster. Plot holes, bad characters, frankly terrible story and puns worse than my dad's... that takes some doing. Why they thought more about the merchandise(Toothless, now with glowing blue spine, AA batteries not included) than the film they were making greatly puzzles me. Why even is Toothless blue? What happened to Alvin The Treacherous, great villain and professional psychopath, Hiccup's perfect nemesis, so much so that comparisons could be drawn with Batman and The Joker? The only bit, the one bit that I find enjoyable, the singular moment that represents the Toothless from the books, is the part when it shows Toothless with his face stuffed with fish. Horrible film, a must not watch, do not watch if you have any love for the books at all. Hopefully this review will be noted and no more films made. What's that? They're making a third one? Oh, Lord...
