Yet another Disney masterpiece. Not only was Cool Runnings hilarious, it was tense. I was glued to the screen for the whole thing. This gripping tale was based on the true story about the struggle that Jamaica’s first bobsleigh team went through to get to the Winter Olympics. And to do this the determined team must travel from their sunny shores of Jamaica all the way to a different country and 20 below zero.

Through this difficult journey friendships are formed, jokes are cracked and tears are shed. And the cool question running through this brilliant Disney film is: Can they do it? One of my favourite things about this film is the fact that rivals could so smoothly form into the strongest of friends, and having formed they can be Jamaica’s heroes.

I hope you enjoy watching this film. I recommend it to anyone who loves a comedy!
