I found this film extremely interesting. It really showed me how Helen Keller felt in her own world of silence and darkness. There was some great symbolism shown in this fascinating film, for instance the use of the key which is used throughout.
Unfortunately the film was slow at times and I found myself getting bored. For example there is a scene about her learning manners, that could have been cut shorter and so made more interesting.
This film is all about how blind and deaf Helen Keller, grew to ‘know’ from the patient teachings and guidance of Anne Sullivan, who helped her to communicate through sign language.
This film made me consider how horrible it would be to be blind and deaf, which is like being shut away from the world outside.
I would really recommend this film to any one enjoys the truth.
