Victor's dog Sparky has an accident. Victor is heartbroken and decide to become a scientist to help him. This movie is very emotional and so very young or sensitive children may find it upsetting because it deals with loss which everyone has to deal with at some point. It is however a fairly good watch. The movie uses stop motion animation which is very effective for the scary atmosphere. Don't be put off because it's in black and white - this makes it even scarier!
