Based of the book I expected this Warner Bros 2005 classic to be happy and joyful and it was however, it was also quite dramatic. When I first saw the film I was on three so I didn’t really understand it but now I have observed it at the age of 9 I understand it a lot better. Personally, I think it is a funny family comedy for the years 7 and above. The movies 2 messages are ‘If you are patient and work hard you can achieve a lot more.’ And ‘Bad people don’t get good things. ’Charlie Bucket (Played by Freddie Highmore) and Grandpa Joe (David Kelly) went on an adventure of a lifetime to a local chocolate factory by being the lucky receiver if the prize-winning GOLDEN TICKET. With a sweet joy in his heart Willy Wonka had a jaw-dropping prize in-store for the best behaved child

AMAZING FACT ALERT

Did you know Roald Dahl didn’t like the original 1971 film si that is what inspired Tim Burton ,the director, to make a darker…dramatic…version.

Finding this fact quite clever, I wondered Deep Roy being the only little OOmpa Loompa was the only piece of CGI (Computer-Generated-Imagery)I really enjoyed watching the film with my classmates and teacher because it had humour and sarcasm and hilarious ways for the children to have something happen to them. Tim Burton was a genius on making this new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory although believe it or not most people prefer the 1971’s classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! I would DEFINITELY recommend this amirable film as it is filled with laughter and humoras we spoke about earlier on the text. My favourite scene/room is the Chocolate Room with a chocolate trickling waterfall that churns the brown flavoursome mixture. Cloudy and the chance of meatballs I think is a similar film because it is all about FOOOOD!TRUST EM YOU NEED TO WATCH THE FILM!!!!!!!!!!!
