Shrek was amazing and funny. What intrigued me the most was the music because it was an unusual twist on light fairy tale songs - as it fit Shrek's sarcastic and moody attitude (another twist on the typical pretty and happy fairy tale character). also I thought the characters were really funny for example when Shrek was being sarcastic donkey took it literally. The muddy mouldy swamp being a precious and beautiful haven rather than the plain and boring kingdom was another complimentary contrast on the flip of the typical fairy tale ideal. I would recommend this to everyone I now because this film made me ache with laughter.
