Bridge to Terabithia is an enchanting family film about two ten year-old outsiders called Leslie and Jess. When Leslie starts Jess' school he instantly becomes wary of her but they soon become close friends. They form an imaginary land called Terabithia in a wood near their houses where they have wondrous adventures but soon these ventures become increasingly complex... For how much longer can this go on?

I really enjoyed this film which is why I rated it four stars. I would recommend this film to an age group of 7 to 11 years because the end is extremely sad and unsuitable for younger viewers. It is rated PG.

My favourite part was when Jess fell out of a tree and was saved by a tree-giant who merely said, "Hi." and stumbled away without looking for praise or a reward. I also liked the fact that this film isn't entirely animated though there are some animated characters who, I think give the film a magical touch.
