James and the giant peach was an excellent movie even though I have already seen it. My favourite character is the centipede because he is really funny. He has a great comedy value. Most of the time he doesn't do puns to make me laugh, he does funny things. The funniest thing he did (to me) was when he was going to get eaten by the robot shark. He said something humorous and made it look hilarious when he moved and that made me laugh. His worst pun or action (to me) was when he spat at the 2 aunts. I thought he could have done better like calling them elephant and pencil. Would that make you laugh? It would definitely make me laugh. My least favourite character is the glow worm because she doesn't really do much. She just sits in her LAZY seat and glows. She doesn't have much of a song but at least she also has a glowing bum! Would you like a glowing bum? I wouldn't want that, and maybe not you. I hope not you. My favourite scene was the scene with all of the skeleton pirates. That part was really exiting as well as it being fictional. My only disagreement for this part is that I feel that they did the underwater scene a bit too long because you can't hold your breath under water for that long, but because it is fiction you can do that. My favourite skeleton pirate is the parot. I liked it how they had to get a parot and boneilised it (had to make it into bones). My least favourite scene was the scene in James dream. He was a caterpillar and it was animated differently to the rest of the movie. It was like making a cartoon caterpillar and sticking your face on it. Also the scene looked like it was made out of card unlike the other animated parts being made out of plasticine. That is the end of that so I will go onto my brothers opinion. My brother gave it 5 stars because it had everything he liked (comedy, adventure and happiness). I gave it 4 stars because James dream was animated different to the rest and when the robot shark tried to eat the peach, it says in the book that lots of NORMAL sharks try to eat the peach. So far we have watched 2 Roald Dahl movies (Danny the champion of the world and James and the giant peach) and I preferred James and the giant peach.
