Dope a wacky comedy about a young black teenager who goes from a self-professed high school geek to an unintentional drug dealer overnight. Malcom and his friends Jib and Diggy are your stereotypical nerds who aim to achieve high grades and takes interests in the 90s hip hop culture. Whilst trying to fit in, they accidently find themselves in possession of drugs. Confused and anxious, they turn to their friend who has a high knowledge about drugs Will. Foolishly, they take Wills advice and sell the drugs using the black market. I would recommend this film as I believe it isnt too conventional also it holds a message which dont judge a book by its cover is very convenient.
