Moana (2016)

An absolutely incredible, fantastic, adventurous, action-packed movie film. An adventurous, courageous teenager following in the footsteps of her ancestors sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey she meets the once-mighty demi god Maui who guides her in her quest to become a master way finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on a action-packed on an action-packed voyage, encountering monsters of all shapes, sizes and colours but mostly impossible odds. Along the way Moana fulfills the ancient, sacred quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she always sought: Her identity... This movie reveals the one answer to the impossible question many people have tried finding the answer is who were you meant to be? Fight for what matters to you no matter what because even if we fall short what better way is there to live?

My favourite part was when Moana and Maui reunited after the colossal argument they had when Maui's beloved hook is damaged badly he takes the blame out on Moana. Feeling quite stunned at his actions, Moana tries to comfort him by saying he doesn't need special powers or abilities to become a hero or be someone, you can be anyone without abilities or powers of any type. She told him that he was unique the way he is a demi god. Maui doesn't believe it and is furious and storms abandoning her on the raft telling her she wasn't to be the chosen one or destined to save her island or people. Maui apologises for his repulsive actions and agrees to help Moana with her quest and restore life to her home which is falling apart very quickly. This made me feel very overwhelmed with joy because the pair are back together and I believe by working together you can achieve anything beyond your wildest dreams.

The part I least disliked was when Maui argued very furiously with Moana and began wishing he hadn't gone on this voyage and that his beloved hook was damaged because of her. With Moana trying her best to comfort him, Maui doesn't want it he needed the hook because the hook possessed strong powers which can only be used by gods but it was severely desecrated. He abandoned her on the raft storming out in such a furious mood he said she wasn't destined to save her island or people and she will never be the chosen one. Then he left leaving Moana in tears, she believed every word had said the ocean rose slowly upwards rising higher and higher towards her she snapped the heart out of her necklace and returned it saying find someone else to do it. This wasn't very considerate of Maui and he shouldn't have that it wasn't her fault he was engaged in a battle with some unidentified creature. In future you shouldn't take the blame on somebody else.

To conclude this was a very inspiring movie and the moral is very useful and helpful and the answer will be seen in the movie. It has really helped me and whenever I feel down in life or facing difficult challenges or problems then this can really be helpful. This has encouraged me to go on more adventures and do whatever it takes to find out who you are. Knowing who you're mean to be is really hard there are many different paths that guide you to many different particular roles in life. I don't know who I'm meant to be but finding out and going on adventures doing whatever that matters to you may reveal the answer.
