Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)

Kubo and the Two Strings is an absolutely exquisite film about a young boy (named Kubo), who lives with his mother. He plays a sort of magic music for a living. The music makes paper unfold into origami, and force the origami show the villagers a story. Kubo enjoys his life, until one day, he meets some of his mother’s most feared enemies…

Just like in Inside Out, Kubo and the Two Strings deals with emotions. For example, Kubo feels JOY when he plays his music, and experiences SADNESS when his parents die. (Oh yes, they die)

My favourite characters are the two witch sisters, and I know you might find it weird that 9 times out of 10 I like the villains, but I have a good reason why. These witches show resilience.

I would recommend this film to whole families, (including mine) to watch together when they have some spare time. If you are looking for ages, then I say people aged 5+. Still want more? Well, you’re not getting it. And that’s that! I would rate this film 5 stars, no doubt! It’s so enthralling! So, reader, when you have any time, watch this film! 
