I was shown this film by my dad when i was little and have loved it ever since. it was my idea to show it at film club because it's a good unusual film that not many people have seen and i thought it was quite suitable. It is an animated film based on the beatles (though they don't do the voices) and they are sent to save pepperland from the blue meanies. it includes some of their songs including: of course, yellow submarine, lucy in the sky with diamonds and sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band. the animation is fabulous. it's all 2-D and extremely psychedelicwith bright flashing colours. in some places it has real life photos and footage. i highly recommend people show this film at film club it's really unusual and a great watch. even better if you like the beatles
