The film is part of a series of movies this is first part to the last movie and has quite a lot of violent parts and there is a lot of dead body’s the film starts with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in a mental institution because of the traumatic events within the hunger games and how she then goes on to fighting to end the hunger games. this film takes place in in district 13. the film can be quite sad at times and is very thrilling. animals are seen a lot during this film
The film is full of symbolism as in the film is all about a mocking jay broach. the mocking jay broach like the bird itself, symbolizes a creature with a spirit of its own. These birds are signs of resistance and rebellion just like Katniss in the film they are allowed to take one thing into the arena to represent then so she took the broach there is a lot of plot twists .
In conclusion I have decided that in order to understand most of the film you have to have watched the previous 2 films in chronological order
