If I'm going to be honest, then I can admit that I wasn't sure whether I was going to like this film, as it is silent and I thought that it would be boring. This film has no dialogue, but still manages to convey a great sense of mood using pathetic fallacy, music and actions to create a general idea of what the characters are saying. It is a stop motion animation which has been modelled and created very cleverly using modelling clay.
Shaun and his fellow sheep set out on a journey to save Farmer. Anything stood in their way will be avoided, and anybody who tries to stop them doesn't have much of a chance of defeating them. There are some very cool scenes where the characters are put in the spotlight, but li'l old Shaun the Sheep is always delving into adventure.
I love this film as it's family friendly and has some great comedic value. Recommending this movie to people aged 4-99 years, I think any person with a fair sense of humour will love it. Even though I doubted I'd like it, this is a film that's up top in my favourites!
For more films like this one, I recommend "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" , "Madagascar" and "Creature Comforts" .
