Good claymation film

4 stars

09 Nov 2018

At first the film didn't look to appealing but after seeing it with my collage class i think my opinions may have changed about the film. The film was in the style of walice and gromit which was quite enjoyable to watch and it had great humor. i enjoyed the film because i didn't expect most of it and it had some unexpected comedy which was brilliant, i regret not seeing this film earlier as it was great. i enjoyed the film because it gave me more of an insight to the animation types and showed what claymation looks like when done properly, despite me not liking claymation much i thought it was quite fun to watch.

i think many other people would like the film as like i said before it had great comedy and also an engaging story plot which did grab the viewers attention, the type of people i think would enjoy this film are fans of walice and gromit and mainly children as there were tons of younger students in the screen with us and they seemed to like it more than we did

the film was mainly claymation so it showed animation aspects that i have never seen before, for example dougs tribe where all dolls that contained tons of moving parts, from this we learn that it would of taken ages to make as it is 12 photos per frame which i bet would of taken many years. over all i enjoyed the film but it still doesn't sway my opinion on claymation. I give this film a 7/10
