One of the best action sci-fi movie in the 90s

Following up its prequel Terminator 1, Terminator 2 picks up where the story left off. A terminator, model T-1000, is sent back in time to kill John Conor, the future leader of the resistance army against the machines. Unlike the first movie, the terminator T-800, is the protagonist in this movie, reprogrammed to protect John Connor by all means to prevent the extinction of the human race in the future.

Terminator 2 is a fantastic sci-fi movie packed with adrenaline pumping music, and intense cut scenes. The movie started off quite slow, with a detailed yet short prequel explaining the events which happened in Teminator 1 to new audiences, and introducing all the major characters. As soon as the action kicks in, the movie never fails to surprise audiences with special effects, and amazing fighting scenes, from intense car chases, to the terminator battling a whole police squad.

As the story progresses, despite being a mindless machine, the terminaotr t-800 slowly grew afflication and care towards the main character John Conor, almost fulffiling the father role John never had in his life, it is quite heart warming seeing their relationship develop.

This movie never failed to keep me on the edge of the seat when I was watching it, the special effects are truly impressive for a film produced in the 90s. I would recommend this film to everyone who loves the sci-fi genre.
