Bohemian Rhapsody first released in cinemas on 24 October 2018 and directed by Bryan Singer is a thrilling and fearless life story of Freddie Mercury and the band QUEEN. You are taken through the bands entire history and are shown the details of Mercury's private life never seen before. this includes the deeper meaning of the songs and him questioning his own sexuality. this would be a very hard subject to portray for most actors and that is why the decision to cast Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury was simply brilliant. When watching Malek perform you really felt like you were looking at Mercury himself. The way he could make you understand so deeply Mercury's emotions was fantastic. The same goes for actors such as Gwilym Lee who played Brian May and Ben Hardy who played Roger Taylor. In the film you get to see the iconic 1985 live aid performance and all the exhilarating songs and fan interactions performed. The soundtrack is simply amazing and i found myself singing along to all the songs.
Overall this is a thrilling and emotive life story that i would recommend to all fans of QUEEN and even people who have never heard of them. it is simply a film you MUST SEE.
