This film was really lovely with a great mixture of sadness, positivity, action and calm within a great plot. This film follows Sascha, a teenage girl who goes on a long journey to find her missing Grandfather and his ship the Devai. Although it took her a good while to complete this journey, we follow her throughout.
I loved the visuals, plot and sound effects of this movie as you always felt you were included in the action. It was also interesting to find out about how girls were treated in this time-period. Not only did it show the sexism that was very normal to this time, it made me feel empowered as a woman to defy all expectations and to do whatever I aspire to.
I really enjoyed this movie as it was heart-warming and full of action and I would recommend it to everyone over eight as it is scary at times. All I would comment on is how expected but under-whelming the ending is as I wished it could of gone on longer.
