Shrek (2001)

Shrek is probably the best animation ever made in the whole world. In the movie they used a lot of high angle shots, especially when they are travelling to Lord Farquaad's castle. The editing in the film was extremely simplistic but very effective, for example the reverse shots from face to face. the sound track used was amazing, especially the song All Star by Smash Mouth. the lighting was very effective as around Shrek was very high-key. Overall Shrek is a simplistic animated film but it is also truly a masterpiece compared to other animated films that have been recently made.
