As a British citizen, I am not very interested in baseball but the film does not exactly tackle that subject, on the contrary, it tackles the prejudice of the game which stops many teams such as the Oakland A's from advancing. This prejudice is against players for many reasons such as the player's age, Billie (Brad Pitt) tries to develop a team through unusual ways discarding the prejudice factor from the game. Overall the film may not have action ar romance but it is interesting, to say the least, and you would most likely be hooked to the screen from the first minute. I would not present the movie to a young audience as it will surely bore; children would not be as capable at following the story as the film may have nothing to catch their eyes. Overall I enjoyed it.
