X-Men (2000)

It was the year 2000. Superhero films were still new and mostly in the background until fox released X-men, the first mainline superhero film of the decade. Bryan Singer assembled a great cast with Hugh Jackman taking the role of the Wolverine, a mutant with fast healing and adamantium claws, Halle Berry in the role of Storm and Ian McKellen in the role of the bad guy, Magneto. Magneto is trying to rage an all-out war against humanity thinking himself above humans. Professor Charles Xavier will not let that happen because of his belief that humans and mutants can co-exist. Thus begins the X-men saga with wise-cracking jokes and CGI that was great for the time. Although there is all of that great stuff there is one problem with this film; not enough action. This film only really serves as an introduction to the X-men universe and establishes everything the series builds off of very well but if I was To change anything, it would be to add more action sequences.
