Paddington 2 is heart warming animated family film set in London directed by Paul King with Paddington voiced by Ben Whishaw and Phoenix Buchanan played by Hugh Grant.
Paddington, a brave bear protagonist from darkest Peru, finds a beautiful pop up book in his friend Mr Gruber’s (played by Jim Broadbent) antique shop and sets about finding a job to earn enough money to buy the book for his aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday. After trying his paw at window cleaning and hairdressing the books is stolen by the antagonist, Phoenix Buchanan, Paddington though is wrongly accused of the crime and gets sentenced to jail where, to his friendly and helpful nature, he sets about making it a home away from home for himself and his fellow prisoners.
The colours of the prison is quite gloomy when Paddington first arrives but as he starts to change the place the colour gets happier and his trademark red and blue coloured outfit is carried out throughout the brown household and family.
Overall I think Paddington is a fun and colourful family film for all the family to watch.
