Wow, this film was very sad and upsetting to watch. as this is a very old film, its black and white. I watched this film with my dad as he watched it when he was little boy, when i watched the film I really felt sorry for the elephant man, as he cared a lot for other people, especally his Mother.

I got upset when he was bullied by other people and was made to go into the circus for people to look at him and laugh at him, it wasnt nice. I wanted to put THEM people in a cage and laugh at them, or even jail!!

As MR John Merrick, (elephant Man) was a very interesting, caring, intelliegent and lovable man, who had a big heart.

I was happy when the doctor was helping John to become the person he wanted too be.
