This film is about a young girl who is being bullied because she is a spelling genius and getting straight A's when she gets given a chance to use her ability off spelling. she is held back by being cooled a freak she runs out even though she only spelled one word wrong. As she is almost out of the competition her sister spots a cheat she goes all the way to the next stage. there was one confusing moment for me was whether the coach was the dad or not. i managed to predict the ending. one of the other things is that the quotation taught her not to be afraid o herself. also her spelling is important to her so she could keep her mind of her dads death.her coach taught her how to keep her in time by skipping and keeping her focused.
