This film was very entertaining and funny- the plot was exciting and what I liked the most about it was the fact that the film was spreading awareness about the issue with deforestation. Young Ted, his mother and his cool grandma spend their life trapped in a walled town called Thneedville, they were fine with it...at least they thought they were. Everything in Thneedville was plastic and artificial, no trees, no plants and no flowers. Mr O’Hare sells oxygen in a bottle due to the loss of trees! Ted’s love for his older friend Audrey is strong and he would do anything for her. Audrey loves trees- and Ted discovers that Audrey would marry the person who buys her a tree. Well, of course Ted didn’t let anything get in his way from finding that tree.
Zac Efron, Taylor swift and Danny Devito were amazing voicing Ted, Audrey and the Lorax and really fit the part. The soundtrack was great, though I did find some of the song scenes a tad bit cringey- “How Bad Can I Be” was by far my favourite as it was fun and funny!
