Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)

PLOT

The world needed a hero, it got a hedgehog. Powered with incredible speed, Sonic embraces his new home on Earth -- until he accidentally knocks out the power grid, sparking the attention of uncool evil genius Dr. Robotnik. Now, it's supervillain vs. supersonic in an all-out race across the globe to stop Robotnik from using Sonic's unique power to achieve world domination.

MY OPINION

Now, I have been a Sonic fan for a few years now. (I've been into it since I was 5.) The fact there is now a movie about the blue hedgehog still blows my mind, even a year later. I loved this movie so much, this is one of the reasons I adore this franchise, I don't really have a favorite part in the film because I just loved the whole film. Now the only thing that I was not 100% with, was probably Sonic's design, and personality change. But I at least understand at least why they picked the design they picked. So that's why I still think the design and personality change is alright. I just love everything this movie has to offer, the references, the character designs, everything. The music, sound effects, they all scream "This is Sonic" in my mind.

RECOMMENDED?

I would HUGELY recommend this to anyone who is a Sonic fan, although Sonic has a different look and personality change, it still is the Sonic I know and love. They defiantly nailed it with the movie. I can't wait to see the sequel!
