when the women the film focuses on achieve what was thought impossible for them the viewers feel the success along with them. The title hidden figures has two meanings one which implies the hidden numbers and the other is implying that the women and all people of color are hidden away from the world by the other people of the world when in fact if we trace our DNA back it goes back to the tribes in Africa.
