This film is one of the most visually beautiful films i have ever seen, the shots just perfectly capture the Italian dream summer. It made me feel like i was living in the most beautiful part of the country there truly living out a summer in Italy 1983. The film is about two lovers Elio (17) and Oliver (24) and their complicated romance. Elio is a young teenage boy trying to find himself and along the way finds himself fascinated by Oliver a mysterious american who had come to stay at his house for just one summer. A fleeting romance.
