My Brother Luca is a short animated movie featuring an autistic boy called Luca. His sister tells us she thinks about Luca and his autism. She sees Luca's autism as a superpower like superman. He has a photographic memory where he can look at something and remember it forever.Luca's parents witnessed his sister love him for who he was and realised that they should love him the same.
I thoroughly enjoyed this move because the animation was bright and colourful. It reminds us that we are all different ,tells us to accept everyone for who they are and the music was very whimsical when they were having fun and quickly changed when the scene got upsetting.
My favourite part was when Luca's sister cheers him up by wrapping a cape around his neck.I disliked the part when the parents thought it was really upsetting when they found out Luca had autism.
I recommend this film for everyone because the animation was colourful and cheery. It was fantastic,it was sad in some parts but mostly a happy film. This movie reminded me of Perched but was much more brighter and more colourful.
