This movie was boring.

The comedy was mediocre at best and most of the characters were unlikeable.

The plot points were weird and unbelievable.

This movie felt like an excuse to glorify misogyny, ableism and homophobia. The movie tried to tackle misogyny with veronica Corningstone becoming the first female anchor but it was utterly unsuccessful. All of Veronica's development as a strong independent women was thrown away at the end.

Most of the so-called comedy, was not comedy. I very rarely laughed. So much of it was outright ableism.

The only enjoyable characters were Veronica and Brick. I'm definitely not the target audience for this movie, but the rest of the characters felt unrelatable and overly-dramatic.

Comedy is not a genre I personally enjoy. I would have found sleeping more entertaining than this. Half of the movie didn't make sense, which I think was supposed to be part of the comedy, but it just confused me. Trying to discuss misogyny and simultaneously making the movie unbelievable in its other aspects was not a good move. It made the misogyny feel less serious.
